For someone like myself, loves playing with all kinds of eyeshadow looks but can't understand why some of them look like sh*t, this video helped me out tremendously. I happened to be searching for makeup brushed for beginners on YouTube, when on the sidebar I found this video about I shapes.  I recommend this video for anyone new to eye makeup or to anyone looking for tips on how to improve upon their eye makeup routine.  Plus the guy is very handsome, at least to me.  So check it out!

I'm sorry for the lack of updates too.  I injured my knee during the past  two months and I do have tons of makeup I've bought and tried out but I've been lazy with blogging so I got typing.  I'm hoping to have out a review of the Sephora Favorites Super Stars kit as well as the new M.A.C. Grey Friday lipstick for their Black Friday promotion that went on this past Friday.

The first post.. Yeayess!!

Hi everyone!  This is my first blog that isn't about my personal life or dealing with school and/or randomness.  I've been blogging off and on since 1998, using sites like gurlpages & another one I can't remember, and then buying my own domain in 2001... long time ago, right!  Anyhoo, I decided to blog about something I've always liked but never knew how to do correctly - makeup (and sometimes fashion).  I've been inspired by magazines, and most recently beauty vloggers beautycrush and uglyfaceofbeauty, as well as countless other vloggers and blogs, so I figured I put my own spin on things here.  I'm mostly will be talking about makeup and hair, but I might throw in some fashion talk that deals with pear shape and/or wide feet/calf ladies (like myself), body piercing, and where you can get deals on clothes, shoes, makeup, jewelry.  I might even do a giveaway or two.  My goal is to help the "late-bloomers" of beauty and those who just need a bit of snarkiness once in a while.
